Plant Trees In Fall

(Jefferson County, MO) Spring is not the only season suited for planting and gardening according to Environmental Specialists. The Horticultural Specialist with the University of Missouri Extensions Office in Jefferson County, Debi Kelly, says now is the best time to plant trees.

Kelly adds the soil this time of year can be very dry and it may be best to plant bulbs in pots to grow through winter.
