Pilot Knob Battle Reenactment This Month

Pilot Knob, Mo. (KFMO) - The Fort Davidson Battle of Pilot Knob will be held later this month.

A member of the Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Dirtectors, Michelle Swane, says the program takes pace at the Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site.

In September 1864, the Battle of Pilot Knob was fought. Confederate Maj. Gen. Sterling Price led an army of 8,000 men against the Union post of Fort Davidson.

The reenactment takes place over two days, Saturday, September 28 and and Sunday, September 29.
