Pets Can be Injured by the Heat

(Park Hills, MO) These high temperatures we're experiencing could be harmful to your pet's health and sometimes in ways we may not be aware of. The Animal Medical Center of Park Hills' Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Jenn  Daniels, says sometimes we don't realize even our pets feet can be injured by hot asphalt or concrete that's been heated up by the sun.

Daniels says be sure to keep your pet cool and with plenty of water if they stay outside.
