Perryville Man Dies in Crash

(Perry County, MO) A man from Perryville, 20 year old Jesse W. Robinson, is dead after he was involved in a one vehicle accident that took place in Perry County at 7 o'clock Saturday night with a 4 wheel side by side off road vehicle. Highway Patrol reports show the vehicle was being driven east on Route N, east of Perry County Road 819, by 20 year old Evan L. Mezo, of Perryville. The vehicle ran off the left side of the road, crashed into a fence, and rolled over. Robinson was flown to St. Louis University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Mezo received minor injuries and was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. Mezo was wearing a safety device during the crash, Robinson was not.
