Owl Creek Project New Trails

(Desloge, MO) Additional funding for trails at the Owl Creek Park area in St. Francois County is being approved and more trails are coming soon. St. Francois County Commissioner, David Kater, says now those who use the park for hiking will have greater access.

According to Kater the trail is to be 10 feet in width. The trail design work has been completed. The work is being funded with a matching grant involving the Department of Natural Resources. The grant was discussed at this week's St. FRancois County Commission meeting.
