Owl Creek Park Superintendent Hired

(Desloge, MO) The Superintendent's position for the developing Owl Creek Park, in St. Francois County, is being filled by Mike Sumpter following Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting. The Presiding Commissioner of the county, Harold Gallaher, says Sumpter is well qualified for the job.

Sumpter will be on site at the park beginning next Tuesday. In other business at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting a slight drop in the county's sales tax collection was noted. It was the first time in over a year a drop has been reported.
