Open House for MAC Welding Program

(Park Hills, MO) The new welding program at Mineral Area College will have an open house at the new William Dickerson Welding Technology Center Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 4-6 pm. The new 4,800 square foot building will house welding classes starting in June. The Director of continuing education at MAC, Pam Watkins, says this will help those who take the class learn technical math for welders, blueprint reading, and metallurgy to name a few topics.

The facility was partially funded through a Workforce Training Initiative which combines a Community Development Block Grant and Neighborhood Assistance Program Tax Credits from the State of Missouri.
