Open Enrollment's Effects On Schools

(Jefferson City, MO) Open Enrollment allows for parents and students to chose to go to schools outside of the city they live in and it is being discussed by Missouri Legislators. The Superintendent of the West County School District, Dr. Kevin Coffman, says open enrollment may not benefit all schools.

Coffman adds open enrollment will change schools budgeting and effect the composition of the schools.
