(Park Hills, MO) The weather for today's solar eclipse is predicted to be mostly sunny and many people are expected to take advantage of it to view today's solar eclipse. The Director of the Space Museum and Grissom Center, Earl Mullins, says if you plan on watching the eclipse you must have the correct glasses to do so for if you don't you could permanently damage your eyes.
Eclipse events continue to day in the Arcadia Valley and Ste. Genevieve plus there are many viewing areas throughout the Parkland like Ste. Joe State Park at Park Hills and Engler Park at Farmington. St. Joe State Park in Park Hills is in the line of totality with the eclipse beginning at 12:41:09. Totality will be achieved at 1:58:26 pm and will last until 3:16:21 pm.
