Monday Moderate Injury Wreck

(St. Francois County, MO) A Bonne Terre woman, 25 year old Desiree D. Smith, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was involved in a two vehicle crash in St. Francois County Monday night just after 7:30. Highway Patrol Records show Smith's vehicle was stalled in the right lane of southbound Highway 67, as she was trying to make a left turn onto Berry Road from Northbound Highway 67. An SUV driven south by 38 year old Rebecca A. Furry, of Farmington, came up behind Smith's car. Furry hit the brakes and her vehicle began to skid striking the right side of Smith's car. Furry received minor injuries. Smith and Furry were taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington.
