Mobile Home Fire Wednesday Night

(St. Francois County, MO) No injuries are being reported after an abandoned mobile home fire on Junction Lane in St. Francois County Wednesday night. Wolf Creek Fire Chief, Bart Mabry, tells KFMO B104 News firefighters were called out just after 8:15 for a single wide trailer fire. The mobile home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived. Several trailers, vehicles, tractor trailer sleeper cabs, and tires were also burning at the scene. Mabry says they think the fire was electrical in nature. High winds and inaccessible road conditions due to rain hampered firefighters in their efforts. Wolf Creek received mutual aid from the Doe Run, Farmington, Park Hills, Leadington and Cherokee Pass fire departments.
