Missouri Senate Special Session Underway

(Jefferson City, MO) With the Missouri Senate in special session over the Federal Reimbursement Agreement, hospital officials across the state are concerned the funding they receive, that comes to Missouri under the agreement, may disappear. Since members of the Missouri House had already passed an agreement and sent it to the Senate, Governor Mike Parson called the Senate Special Session urging passage of the F.R.A. agreement. Sources tell KFMO B104 News the final Senate vote could come today or Thursday. Representatives in the House may be able vote on a Senate compromise by next Wednesday or earlier.
