Missouri House Approves Overpayments Bill

(Jefferson City, MO) Members of the Missouri House are hoping Senate leaders will approve their unemployment overpayment measure that was approved and passed on for discussion and hopeful passage. State Representative, Dale Wright, says anyone who received the accidental overpayment would forgive 75% of the payment.

The Missouri Department of Revenue accidentally sent out unemployment overpayments totaling $146 million dollars. The money was sent to 146 thousand Missouri residents.
