Mayor Questions Trash Fee

(Desloge, MO) Desloge officials are looking into an issue with the city's trash fee after Monday night's Board of Aldermen meeting. Desloge Mayor, Pete Pasternak, says he's calling into question the current trash fee and whether or not it should be collected from residents after a tax that was passed in 1976 that, apparently, should be covering trash collection expenses.

In other business at Monday's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting a holiday bonus was approved for Desloge firefighters and sewer system development for the east outer road area was also discussed.
