Man Sentenced for Abusing Toddler

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man was sentenced this week to seven years in prison for abusing and neglecting a 2-year-old boy from Jefferson County.

David Clark was sentenced in court on Monday. According to court documents, Clark was watching Mason Lohman while Mason’s mother was at work, while the abuse took place. Mason was taken to a hospital that night and was found with meth in his system. Mason suffered a seizure, bruising, a broken arm and broken ribs.

Clark’s trial was scheduled to start Monday, but he entered an Alford plea instead.
