Madison County Fatal Accident

(Madison County, MO) A man from Fredericktown, 70 year old Michael L. Lindsey, is dead after he was involved in a one vehicle wreck with a pick up truck Friday evening in Madison County. Highway Patrol reports show Lindsey was driving west on Highway Z, a mile east of Fredericktown, when he lost control of the truck and it ran off the left side of the road. Lindsey overcorrected and the truck ran off the right side of the highway and crashed into a tree. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident. The wreck took place about 5:30.
