Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Fredericktown man, 22-year-old Benjamin J. Webber, is recovering from moderate injuries after he was hurt in a traffic accident with an ATV at 8:40 p.m. Thursday in Madison County.
Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol say Webber was a passenger on an ATV driven east on Madison County Road 219, 6 miles north of Fredericktown, by 21-year-old Nicholas W. Holtkamp of Fredericktrwon. Webber was injured when he fell off the ATV.
He was not wearing a safety device when he was hurt. Webber was transpoprted to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
