Mineral Area College Rewarded $5 mil Grant for Tech Center

(Jefferson City, MO) State Representative Dale Wright of the 116th District joined The Start to announce a new bill had been passed that gives a large grant to Mineral Area College to build a new tech center on its campus.  State Representative Wright says they got more than he had originally been trying to secure for MAC.

State Representative Wright says the new tech center will cover a wide range of skills such as coding, welding, machinists skills to allied health skills and more.  He also adds that in the future the increase in skilled workforce in the local area should attract new businesses and jobs to the region.
