Life Vests Save Lives

(Jefferson City, MO) Law Enforcement Officers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol do their part to keep people safe on the roadways and waterways, but you can help keep yourself safe as well. Corporal Dallas Thompson, says it is important to think safely when out on the water and take a flotation device.

Thompson adds the victims of more than 90 percent of the drownings in our area occur because a life vest was not being used.
