Legislators Eyeing Additional Tax Cuts

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri Legislators are working to slash taxes for residents after a bill was passed out of the Missouri House of Representatives last week. The Representative of the 118th District in Missouri, and chairman of the state's Ways and Means Committee, Mike McGirl, says there are certain benchmarks to be met for the tax cuts to begin.

McGirl adds social security benefits would no longer be taxed if the proposal becomes law.
