King Leaving Bismarck for Position at Windsor

(Bismarck, MO) The Bismarck Superintendent of schools, Jason King, is leaving the district for a position with the Windsor Schools. King has been with Bismarck for 19 years. Kings replacement will be Dr. Michael Silvy, who has been serving as the Superintendent of the Valley R-VI schools in Caledonia for the past 4 years. Silvy earned his Doctor of Education Degree from Maryville  University. He holds a Master in Education Degree from  Lindenwood University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree from  College of the Ozarks. Bismarck school board members voted unanimously to hire Silvy. Silvy is a 1996 graduate of Clearwater High School.
