Kansas City Girl Dies at Shut Ins

(Reynolds County, MO) An 18 year old Kansas City teenager, Mariah Brielle Schramm, is dead after slipping and falling off the bluffs at Johnson Shut In's State Park in Reynolds County. Reports show the teen, who died of a head injury, was in a restricted are on top of the bluffs when she slipped on the rocks and fell over the edge hitting the rocks as she was falling. The accident took place last Saturday. The incident is still being investigated by Missouri State Park Rangers. You are allowed to swim at the base of the bluffs however climbing to the top, and jumping off, is not allowed and usually results in a trespassing violation.
