June Election Contested School Board Races and Issues

Voters in the Parkland are set to decide the fate of several contested school board positions and two bond issues in today's election.
In the Central School district there are three seats open. Two incumbents, Mark McFarland and and Dennis Norris, are runnin g as well as challengers Diann Bess and Dena Hart. District Patrons are also voting on a no tax increase bond issue that would create a stand alone safe room in the district as well as extra classroom space and other improvements.
Patrons of the North County Schools will vote for three board members from a list of six candidates including Julie Pratte, Jake Long, Stacy Tiefenauer Wilfong, Alen Gremminger, Adam Froidl, and Stacey Leigh Kay. Voters are also being asked to approve a no tax increase bond issue to address student safety and security as well as safe and efficient energy upgrades.
In the Bismarck Schools three seats are up for election. Brad Brown, Bill Skaggs Jr., and Matt Dunn are contesting it as well as challenger Terry D. Skinner.
Voters in the Farmington School District are set to vote to fill three positions on the school board. Howard Hoehn, Angela Hahn, Jerry Freeman, as well as challenger Dylan R. Nicholson are vying for the position.
There are four board member seats up for election in the West County Schools. Rocky Stevens and Chris Briley have filed for one a year term. The three year board seats aren't contested.
