Jefferson County Teen Dies in Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO) A 16 year old female juvenile from Hillsboro is dead after a head on crash in Jefferson County Wednesday afternoon. Highway Patrol reports show the wreck happened just before 6 o'clock as the girl was driving north on Route B, north of Reynolds Creek Road. She lost control of the car and went into the southbound lanes, crashing into a pick up driven south by 34 year old Kyle H. Coleman of Potosi. The girl was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis where she was pronounced dead. Coleman was not injured. Both of them were wearing their seat belts when the accident took place.
