Jefferson County Resident Taken into Custody in St. Francois County

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 31-year-old Jefferson County resident was taken into custody, by Farmington Police, after a 14-mile pursuit on Highway 67 on Friday, September 27.

According to the Farmington Police Department, the pursuit ended near Bonne Terre after the pursued vehicle's tires were deflated by assisting agencies. The female was taken into custody for felony stealing, active warrants, resisting arrest and numerous traffic charges. The suspect was transported to the St. Francois County Jail and processed.

Charges are being filed through the St. Francois County Prosecutors office.

The Farmington Police Department was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Desloge Police, Bonne Terre Police and the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department. This is an active investigation.
