Jeff Crites Elected Sheriff of St. Francois County

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) ​- Jeff Crites will be the next St. Francois County Sheriff. In a hotly contested 4-way race, unofficial numbers from Tuesday's primary show Crites with 3,799 votes, or 37.91% of the 10,022 votes cast on Republican primary ballots. Crites outlines the first things he wants to do once he takes office. 

Jasen Crump finished second in unofficial voting, with 2,293 votes or 22.88%. Incumbent Dan Bullock finished third with 1,981 votes or 19.77%, and Tim Harris finished fourth with 1,949 votes or 19.45%. No candidates ran on the Democrat ballot, meaning Crites will become St. Francois County Sheriff starting January 1st, 2025.
