Ironton Man Hurt in Accident

(Crawford County, MO) A man from Ironton, 51 year old James A. Hindman, is suffering serious injuries after he was involved in an accident with a pick up in Crawford County Friday night at 8 o'clock. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say Hindman, who was in the bed of the pick up, was thrown out of the vehicle when the driver, 22 year old Stephen L. Gomez, of Arnold, accelerated abruptly while turning from a private drive onto Highway 8. Hindman was taken to Missouri Baptists Hospital in Sullivan.
