Human Trafficking Awareness Month

(Potosi, MO) January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Human trafficking occurs when a trafficker uses force, fraud, or coercion to compel another person to work or engage in a commercial sex act. The Founder of the JKK Inheritance Haven in Potosi, Ronni DuBois, says victims of human trafficking may not know how to escape.

DuBois adds it is our responsibility to contact law enforcement officials to help victims escape violators.
