Homicide Investigation in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Jefferson County Sheriff, Dave Marshak, has released information regarding the arrest of a 20-year-old Arnold man, after he allegedly shot and killed another man Wednesday evening in the 2400 block of Lombard in Imperial.

Investigators believe this was an isolated and targeted incident, and there is no danger to the public.

Sheriff’s Office staff worked this case throughout the night, and the investigation is far from over, according to Marshak.

The suspect’s name isn’t being released at this point because he hasn’t been officially charged. The victim’s name will be released after the proper notifications are made.

The suspect is in custody in the Jefferson County Jail.
