Home Burns in Sunday Frankclay Fire

(Frankclay, MO) Two residents are injured with smoke inhalation after a fire on Gasconade Avenue Sunday in Frankclay. According to Leadwood Fire Chief, Charlie Lewis, the department was called out to the blaze at 11:15 am. A clothes dryer was responsible for the fire. 24 fire departments assisted Leadwood firefighters into Sunday afternoon. The home was a major loss. The extent of the two residents injuries is unknown.
