Hillsboro Man Injured in Accident

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Hillsboro man is recovering from moderate injuries after an accident in Jefferson County Monday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 5:50 p.m., 60-year-old Patrick M. Rueve was traveling south on Old Highway 21, south of Antonia Fire District, in a cargo van, when he failed to negotiate a curve to the right. The van exited the roadway to the left and struck a tree. He was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.

Rueve was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
