Highway Patrolmen Visit Schools

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers continue to offer safety patrols and educational programs to public school districts across the state. The Patrol's Corporal Dallas Thompson says the idea is for Troopers who are in the area of a school to stop and visit the different buildings, from time to time, as an added safety measure.

Thompson says the Patrol always contacts a district to ask permission to engage in a walk through of the buildings before the program is enacted in any school district.
