High Ridge Woman Injured in Accident

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A High Ridge woman is recovering from moderate injuries, after an accident in Jefferson County Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Angela M. Jackson was traveling eastbound on Route M, East of Old Lemay Ferry Road, in the right lane, in a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, when a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by 26-year-old Ryan D. Stackley, of Festus, struck te rear of Jackson's car. Jackson was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of her injuries.

Both were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Both vehicles recieved extensive damage.
