Henderson Leading Caucus on Priorities

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri State Representative, Mike Henderson, will lead a new sub-caucus from Missouri House Republicans called the Policy Development Caucus, or PDC.  Henderson says the group will discuss and evaluate House Bills proposed by its members and recommend which should be legislative priorities for the House Republican Caucus.

According to Henderson the sub-caucus attempts to manage the increasing number of bills submitted by HOuse members. A total of 787 House Bills were prefiled for the 2024 legislative session, breaking the previous record of 776 set in 2020. The PDC is comprised of thirty members of the House Republican Caucus and meets weekly to consider actual bills that Republican Caucus members have filed.
