Groundbreaking for Aquatic Center

(Park Hills, MO) Park Hills residents, city government officials, and members of the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce are excited about the future of the new Park Hills Aquatic Center after a special groundbreaking was held yesterday in Columbia Park. Park Hills Mayor, Stacey Easter, says there are still things to be done on site before construction gets in full swing.

The new Aquatic Center will have a 2,600 square feet pool house that will hold the office, concession booth, guard lounge, seven restrooms with two showers, a storage area, and a mechanical room in the basement. The pool will also include spray elements, a lazy river, a deck exit slide, a lounge deck, and lap lanes. The Park Hills Aquatic Center is expected to be open to the public in the spring of 2024.
