Fredericktown School Threat Allegedly from Student

(Fredericktown, MO) Fredericktown Police have a suspect in the investigation into a threat possibly directed at the Fredericktown High School Campus. According to a post on the Fredericktown Police Department's Facebook page, from Chief of Police Eric Hovis, school officials received information late Thursday night regarding the possible threat. The post indicates the student who allegedly made the threat was identified by local law enforcement investigators. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken by the school as well as any action law enforcement decides to take. Hovis went on to say in the post as always, student and staff safety is of the highest priority in the Fredericktown R-1 School District.
