Flood Watch Set To Go Into Effect

(St. Francois County, MO) A flood watch is set to go into effect at Midnight tonight and last until 6 o'clock Tuesday night. Meteoroligists with the National Weather Service say excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations. As much as 2 inches of rain is expected. The ground remains mostly saturated from last weeks' rainfall, making excessive runoff more likely. Take all necessary precautions and remember, if you encounter a flooded road, turn around, don't drown.
