Finch Wins County Seal Contest

(Farmington, MO) The winner of the contest to choose a new county seal for St. Francois County is Bryan Finch of Farmington. county commissioners made the announcement at their Tuesday morning weekly meeting. Finch says he is excited to have been chosen from hundreds of other entries.

St. Francois County Presiding Commissioner, Harold Gallaher, says they're going to make a couple of changes to the design and then adopt the seal.

There were 264 entries submitted with as many as 33 from different countries. Entries came from 35 states across the nation. Two of the finalists were from Farmington.
