Fewer Veterans MIA This Veterans Day

(St. Francois County, MO) As we leave this Veterans Day there is good news concerning those who are still missing in action from the United States various conflicts. The State POW/MIA Chairman for the VFW, Joe Cerchi, says a few weeks ago there were 2,300 Missouri families who didn't know the fate of their loved one in the military but now that number stands at 2,275.

Cerchi adds they're getting four boxes of remains from Vietnam and they aren't sure how many sets of remains they'll have when they are received.
