Farmington Woman Injured in Crash

(Jefferson County, MO) A woman from Farmington 32 year old Sheila M. Tripp, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was involved in a 5 vehicle chain reaction wreck in Jefferson County Friday afternoon just before 3:15. According to Highway Patrol reports two cars, and two SUV's, were stopped at a steady red traffic light, headed east on Highway 30, west of Valley Dell Road. A car driven east by 38 year old Paul R. Rheaume, of House Springs, came upon the vehicles from behind and crashed into the rear of a car driven by Daniel J. Lohman of Fenton. The force of the impact caused Lohman's car to crash into the rear of a car driven by 31 year old Danielle N. Siller of Defiance. This forced Siller's's car to smash into an SUV driven by 61 year old Daniel L. McAdams of High Ridge and McAdams vehicle then crashed into another SUV. It was driven by 49 year old Sonja B. Turner of High Ridge. After the crash Rheaume's car caught fire. Rheaume, who also received moderate injuries, and Tripp, were taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis while Lohman, who received minor injuries, was also taken to Mercy Hospital South. No one else was injured in the crash.
