Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Teachers and staff with the Farmington School District were welcomed back Monday, August 12, 2024 with an "Opening Day" gathering at the Farmington Centene Center.
Dr. Avis Williams, the Superintendent of the New Orleans School District, spoke on the importance of Joy in education and in the classroom.

The Black Knight Marching Band also got the crowd moving with their upcoming show music and the school's "fight song," and special recognition was given to many teachers and staff that have worked 5 or more years in the district, with one employee starting her 45th year with the district.
