Farmington Area Storm Damage

(Farmington, MO) Clean up after Wednesday's storms continues in the Farmington area.

Reports indicate the first round of storms Wednesday afternoon came with enough wind power to knock down large limbs as well as several large trees. Hail was also reported around the city area with minimal damage.

Farmington officials opened several city buildings as shelters during the storms.

The Farmington area received 1.17 inches of rain in the last 24 hours while the Ironton and Fredeicktown areas received around, or a little under, a half inch of precipitation.
