Farmer's Market Food Finder

(St. FRancois County, MO.) With many businesses being labeled essential during the stay at home order Farmer's Markets are included in the list. A new online tool, called the Missouri Food Finder, aims to connect citizens with the people who are growing and selling locally produced food in their region. A Field Specialist in Horticulture for the University of Missouri Extension Center, Debi Kelly, says anyone who has food available can visit mofoodfinder.org, and put in their information to get started.

Kelly adds consumers can use the site to find these food producers in their region and discover where the food is available.

Kelly explains the Food Finder is a free service for producers and consumers alike.
