Drunk Driving Up During Winter Holidays

(St. Francois County, MO) Highway Patrol reports show driving and drinking happens more often during the winter holiday season. The Patrol's Corporal Juston Wheetley says people tend to go to more locations to celebrate than they do during other holidays.

According to Wheetley even though New Year's, the 4th of July, and Memorial Day, are some of the Patrol's busiest times of the year for impaired driving they don't compare to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
