Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An investigation is underway in Washington County, after a man was found dead near the intersection of E Highway and Highway 47.
According to Sheriff Zach Jacobson, Washington County 911 received a call Monday, July 29, 2024, from a group of people riding all terrain vehicles, on property owned by Buckman Laboratories, stating they found a man deceased. Authorities arrived and confirmed the death.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Jarrett Exter, of Branson. He was released from the Missouri Department of Corrections last week. Jacobson says that two people were taken into custody.
The two taken into custody, identified as 32-year-old Allison Skaggs, of Iron County, and 31-year-old Ryu Fleger, of Sullivan, were charged with possession of a control substance. Jacobson says that Skaggs is the girlfriend of the Exter, and Fleger spent time in the Missouri Department of Corrections with Exter.
Jacobson say that Exter's body did have some injuries, however did not appear to have been related to his death.
