County IDA Presents Progress on Property

(St. Francois Co., MO) Officials with the St. Francois County Industrial Development Authority, or IDA, are pursuing over a 700 acre tract of land in the county for developing industry.

The President of the County IDA, Kevin Cook, says with the new MAC Tech Center, and other career training in the Parkland, and a secured site, industrial jobs can come to the area.

According to Cook the property has a price tag of $10,000,000 and he adds the group is searching for a funding source to get the land.

The information was presented at Tuesaday's Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce meeting.
