Council Members Discuss Beautification Initiative

(Park HIlls, MO) A downtown beautification initiative is being discussed by Park Hills officials. The effort was talked about at Tuesday night's Park HIlls City Council meeting. Mayor, John Clark, says there's is a 2 block area downtown that's in a tax increment finance district and this could help property owners revitalize the face of their buildings.

A special Downtown Beautification Initiative Meeting will be held this evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Park Hills Council Chambers located at 10 Municipal Drive. Council members also looked at a proposal to increase the city water deposits from $50 to $150 dollars. Approval of the increase has been tabled until the next meeting for further clarification.
