Commission Approves Jail Water Work

(Farmington, MO) Work to fix a water temperature mixing valve will begin soon at the St. Francois County Jail. County Commissioners approved the repair at Tuesday's commission meeting and Commissioner DAvid Kater says the water inmates use comes out of the tap at one constant temperature for safety reasons and this valve was failing.

In other business at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting the purchase of a heavy duty vehicle lift for the Sheriff's Department mechanic, and work on securing the roof chase doors was also given approval.
