Commission Approves Imaging Project

(Farmington, MO) The latest imaging project for St. Francois County will move forward after a contract with the company Eagleview was approved at Tuesday's County Commission meeting. The Presiding Commissioner for St. Francois County Harold Gallaher, says the imagery project takes aerial photographs of St. Francois County that are primarily used by the Assessor's office but also by other entities for various reasons.

Gallaher adds the pictures are taken during the spring when there are no leaves on the trees. This gives the clearest pictures of properties in the county. In other business at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting Taylor Engineering was approved for testing with work on new Road and Bridge building.
