Chautauqua Indoors this Year

(Bonne Terre, MO) This year's Big River Chautauqua will be held indoors instead of outside under a Big Circus style tent. The City Administrator of Bonne Terre, Shawn Kay, says they decided to hold the event inside Bonne Terre City Hall's air conditioned auditorium.

The theme of this year's Big River Chautauqua Space: From FAntasy to Fact. historical character reenactments will include science fiction author Gene Rodenberry, rocket scientist Wernher von Braun, and NASA Scientist Katherine Johnson. The 2023 Big River Chautauqua will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
